Nursery technique | Seeds (actually whole fruit) are sown about 2 cm deep in shaded nursery beds, 5-8 cm apart in dills spaced 15 cm apart; from February to April. Beds are watered at regular intervals, till germination is complete, and regularly weeded. Seedlings are transplanted in the nursery beds, in July, when about 3-4 months old and 5-8 cm high, at a spacing of 15 cm 10 cm or 15 cm 15 cm. Seedlings are fit for planting in the following rainy season.
