The seeds are sown in the nursery about March, watering regularly but sparingly and protecting the seedlings for the first few months from sun and heavy rain. If the seeds are regularly weeded, the seedling should be large enough to plant out in the first rainy season, but care is necessary not to expose the roots as the seedlings are somewhat sensitive to transplanting.
