Nursery technique | Seeds are soaked in water for 2-3 days for the pulp to get rotten and then directly dibbled in polypot/mother bed for early germination the same can be covered with polythene and hay overall to absorb maximum heat and moisture. The medium for polypot/mother bed is prepared consisting of sand, river silt, vermicompost/cowdung in 1:1:1 proportion. Another method is when both sides of the seeds are cut and dibbled horizontally in the polypot or mother bed.
