Nursery technique | Seed viability is one year, but can survive up to 5 years if kept in airtight condition. No of seeds per kg is 150 nos. (Fresh wt.) 300 nos. (Dry wt.). Seeds are soaked in water overnight and directly dibbled in polypot or mother bed. The medium for polypot/mother bed is prepared consisting of sand, river silt, vermicompost/cowdung in 1:1:1 proportion.
