Nursery technique | Seed is collected from December to January. Seeds are fertile at very early age; even coppice shoots of 1-2 year old bear fruits. The seeds do not retain viability and they should be sown immediately after collection. Seeds are soaked in cold water for 48 hours. These are then sown in polybags and the germination is noticed within 20-25 days. A layer of hay is covered over polybags for the uniform heat to be maintained.
