Nursery technique | The outer husk containing the seed is broken carefully. The inner seed so procured is then kept in humid temperature by covering or wrapping it up with green hay or black polythenes for 10 days for good sprouting after which they are sowed in mother bed or dibbled in polypot. The mother bed or medium for polypot is prepared consisting of sand, river silt, vermicompost/cowdung in 1:1:1 proportion. |
