Nursery technique

The capsules start ripening from a year later, i.e., before the flowering of next year. The fertility of seeds remains for one year. Germination capacity 70% even after one year. Seed weight 4200/kg. Fresh seeds germination capacity are 80-90%. Seeds take 10-80 days to germinate. Seeds need to be sown in raised nursery beds or polypots in shaded nursery. Initial growth slow, but later fast. A height of 1.8m per annum after establishment of seedlings.
